1. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of their use

a) When visiting the website

Every time a customer (or other visitor) accesses our website, the Internet browser used on your device (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file (log file).

The following data will be collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the collection of data is based on the following purposes: ensuring a smooth connection setup and a comfortable use of the website, evaluation of system security and stability as well as for further administrative purposes.

In no case we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you.

b) Using our online forms

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via the online forms provided on the website. At least the following information is required: name, company, e-mail, telephone, if necessary personal message, so that we know from whom the request originates and in order to be able to answer them. Further information can be provided voluntarily. The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

To avoid errors, we check the email domain via DNS and common SPAM lists, such as Mogelmail and Apache SpamAssassin.

The personal information we collect when using the online forms is stored and processed in our CRM system by salesforce.com, Inc., The Landmark, One Market Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA ("salesforce"). With salesforce, we have completed a data processing agreement that references the salesforce privacy statements, a Privacy Shield certification, and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. This allows us to transfer EU personal data to locations outside the EU.

c) Upon conclusion of a contractual relationship

When concluding a contractual relationship on our website (for example, ordering a trial version), we ask you to provide personal data (name, company and e-mail address). The mentioned data will be processed to process the contractual relationship. The processing of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b EU-GDPR. The retention period is limited to the purpose of the contract and, if available, statutory and contractual retention requirements.

d) When arranging a trading partner

Our order process is conducted by cleverbridge AG, our authorized online retailer. Payment processing and order fulfillment are done by cleverbridge AG, Gereonstr. 43-65, 50670 Cologne, Germany ("cleverbridge"). If you would like to use our website to make a detailed price calculation, to request an offer or to purchase a product, we will forward you to cleverbridge (“shop.messageconcept.net”) and fill out the cleverbridge online form with your name, your company and your e-mail address. Cleverbridge stores and processes the data only when the cleverbridge online form is submitted. The cleverbridge privacy policy applies here.

Our data protection regulations are in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and the data are processed only in the Federal Republic of Germany, the European Union and the USA.

2. Affected rights

On request, we will be pleased to inform you whether and which personal data about you are stored (Art. 15 GDPR), in particular the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed, the planned retention period, the right of rectification, cancellation, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a right of appeal, the source of their data, if not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling.

You also have the right to correct any incorrectly collected personal data or to complete incomplete data collected (Art. 16 GDPR).
